Feeling myself go down nostalgia lane. This was at our final dinner for our csuip program. Everyday that passes I find myself excited to see what my life has planned next but also not wanting to move forward. It’s a feeling hard to describe in words but has to be lived through it. All that I have to say is push yourself and go outside your norms and usual scene you won’t regret it.

could not stop listening to this song after returning from Morocco. It just brings a warm feeling to my heart. “i thank god im breathing, and i pray dont take me soon cause im here for reason”. soo beautiful. hopefully one day the world will be at peace and realize that we are all under the same sun, wanting to live and be happy!

Freeman!!! A symbol of freedom to the Moroccan people symbolizing being free politically/ religiously/ spiritually. Living life with peace and knowing no one is truly different we all live under the same sun. #nomad

Hiyab. Such nice people

My trip to morocco was life changing. I don’t want to be sappy and yield to the typical commentary about Africa but in all truth it was seriously exactly what I needed. My soul was touched in many ways and my view o the world and life is seen through a different lens now. After traveling to places like Paris and London and Ireland and other amazon places I lost sight of what is really out there in this world. After being months in areas of middle upper class areas and traveling with those more fortunate you lose the almost innocence to the real meaning in life. When going to Africa you see people who are hungry not just hungry for food but thirsty for knowledge and anxious to make enough money that day to feed their family it’s the REAL struggles that many people in this world still have. Te people were warm and generous they loved to have conversations about the united states including “Justin bieber” and lady gaga haha. I met which smart children who knew up to 5 languages such as English French Spanish arabic and more… It was mind-blowing these kids would just learn these languages form all the tourists that come by and just speaking amongst foreigners. Te food was incredible but many of the towwns didnt have fresh water so be careful what you eat I also rode camels and had one of the best nights o my life in the sahara desert it was truly a blessed trip it was simply unforgettable.

InSight Crime’s map illustrating where countries in Latin America stand in regards to legalization:

The red countries in the map represent those who have publicly stated they are against both legalization and decriminalization of narcotics.
The yellow countries are those which either have partial decriminalization laws or have argued in favor of this, but have said they are against legalization.
The green countries are those who are open to debate on drug decriminalization and legalization.

If you click through, the map on InSight’s website allows you to hover over each country for details about drug laws there.

This needs more social attention. Drug war have been happening for centuries and is a worldwide pedemic. spread info
